Jake is an absolute master of his craft. For SIGNAL, a highly kinetic film with minimal dialogue, the soundscape had to do the heavy lifting. I asked Jake to make a crucial, CGI train sequence as horrific, harrowing, and traumatic as possible—and he delivered so flawlessly that audiences constantly ask how we pulled off such a dangerous live stunt. His attention to detail is unmatched; he even travelled halfway across the country just to QC the 5.1 mix in the cinema before our premiere.
